Amy serves as General Partner of Willowtree Venture Fund LP, a portfolio focused on advancing early stage consumer companies and funds disrupting all areas of the consumer space including CPG, retail, apparel, dining and hospitality. Exists have included Codigo Tequila, Warby Parker, Sufferfest Beer Company and impact investment d.Light solar home systems.
In her philanthropic role as Director of the Marks Family Foundation, Amy awards risk-tolerant grants across a broad array of issue areas, but with a primary focus on giving to women’s and girls issues, disease research and equitable access to education and the arts. Here she is developing a focus area on women and girls as it relates to education, health and human services and international development. As part of her philanthropy work, Amy led a project in Vietnam which utilized human centered design to lower the rate of unintended pregnancies amongst youth, where the abortion rate is the highest in the world. This project was her focus as a member of The Maverick Collective, an initiative co-founded by Melinda Gates, and backed by the global NGO, Population Services International. Most recently, Amy spearheaded an initiative to evacuate a targeted list of Afghan women activists in response to the Taliban takeover, marking a viral campaign that raised over $7 Million dollars in a span of 2 weeks that led to the evacuation of nearly 1,100 women and their family members. As Chairwoman for the V Foundation Wine Celebration, Amy leads the highest grossing charitable wine auction for Cancer Research, which recently raised $21 Million at its 2023 event, culminating in over $160M raised for the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Amy takes an active, “roll your sleeves up” approach to the various philanthropic endeavors in which she is involved.
2024 Marks the launch year of AtlasDaughters, a philanthropic travel organization Amy founded in effort to catalyze capital from philanthropists into much needed nonprofits leading innovative solutions by and for women worldwide, while creating unbreakable bonds for mother and daughter participants and teaching innovative curriculum on girls leadership and early philanthropy concepts. Amy currently sits on the for-profit boards of Casa del Sol Tequila and Trackhouse Racing along with non-profit board of the V Foundation Wine Celebration. She is a member of the Melinda Gates founded Maverick Collective and Women Moving Millions. Amy currently resides in Lake Tahoe with her 3 children.
