Barry Chandler Williams

Co-Founder, Feels Music Messaging

Barry Chandler Williams is a seasoned executive and innovator at the intersection of music, talent management, and brand strategy. His career began under the mentorship of legendary music manager Chris Lighty at Violator Management, where he served as Brand Manager for 50 Cent and supported multi-platinum artists including LL Cool J, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, and Missy Elliot.

Barry’s expertise expanded when Violator Management partnered with Warner Music Group to create The Brand Asset Group, where he transitioned into corporate brand marketing. He led music-based initiatives for global enterprises such as General Motors, Coca-Cola, Reebok, and Glaceau vitaminwater.

Returning to his roots in music, Barry joined Universal Music Group at Interscope, Geffen, and A&M Records under the leadership of Jimmy Iovine. During this tenure, he contributed to the launch of Beats by Dre and supported its integration into large-scale media. Barry also led marketing efforts for both emerging talents, such as Kendrick Lamar, Aloe Blacc, MGK, and Robin Thicke, and legendary artists including Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Mary J. Blige.

With over 30 years of experience spanning international markets, Barry has driven product development and launches across diverse categories, including gaming, fashion, fragrance, books, film, TV, and consumer packaged goods.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Barry is an advisor and board member for startups like PlanetHome.eco and Entribe, a social media rights management company. He is also deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting organizations such as the V Foundation through annual fundraising and celebrity partnerships.

Currently, Barry focuses on two startups he co-founded: VK9, an organic and sustainable pet nutraceutical company, and Feels Music Messaging, a music analytics platform. His passion for innovation and talent development continues to drive his impact in both the commercial and nonprofit sectors.
