Elizabeth Allin invests in and advises high-potential startups that are creating new categories in traditional industries like financial technology, e-commerce, and media. She has nearly twenty years of experience as an operator and leader, most recently as an executive at BNPL leader Affirm and global VC firm B Capital, founded by Eduardo Saverin. Elizabeth is also active in multiple nonprofit and philanthropic organizations focused on cancer research, education, and social and criminal justice reform.
As the wife of a cancer survivor and a friend to many who have fought cancer, Elizabeth is extremely passionate about organizations working to cure cancer and served as an advisor to the Wunderglo Foundation, focused on colorectal cancers and founded by a dear college friend who lost her own battle with the disease. She is senior advisor to The Last Mile, a groundbreaking organization providing 21st-century training and development programs inside the U.S. prison system, and is involved with local organizations including the San Francisco Symphony.
Elizabeth received her BA from Duke University and is actively involved as an alumna. She is particularly engaged with programs supporting future entrepreneurs, as well as female athletes. Elizabeth is an avid wine collector and is a founding member of several wine appreciation groups.
